We're looking for a compassionate, caring, and dedicated Medical Records Specialist III to join our team and help us continue our tradition of excellence. In this role, you'll support all areas of the Medical Records Department by maintaining, processing, and retrieving patient information to ensure timely, accurate access for internal and external customers. You'll play a vital role in protecting the integrity of patient records while delivering exceptional service and supporting efficient healthcare operations.
What You'll Do:
Assist all areas of the Medical Records Department with processing, maintaining, and retrieving patient information. Ensure medical records are handled accurately, securely, and in accordance with departmental procedures. Provide timely support to internal and external customers requesting patient information. Maintain confidentiality while supporting efficient workflow and high-quality customer service.
Education & Experience:
High school diploma or GED is required. Six months of medical records experience is preferred. Ability to articulate and understand verbal communication and read and write at a minimum high school level is required. Basic understanding of medical terminology is preferred.
