full-time About the job McManus Ateshoglou Aiello & Apostolakos PLLC is an expanding litigation firm with offices in the Manhattan Financial District and in Garden City, Long Island. We are seeking to hire a Records Clerk to join our rapidly growing team in our Manhattan location. MAAA is a true litigation firm, which takes matters through all phases of the litigation process from pleadings through discovery, substantive motion practice, trial, and appeal. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently with appropriate supervision. MAAA offers evening-division law students the opportunity to develop and hone their litigation skills and to develop their writing techniques. Microsoft Office Responsibilities:
- Process, organize, scan, and maintain physical and electronic records.
- Process and obtain records from providers, entities, courts, and other parties.
- Review records and tracking logs to identify outstanding requests and conduct timely follow-up.
- Prepare and send correspondence, emails, and other communications to request records.
- Maintain accurate records charts, tracking logs, and notes regarding incoming and outstanding records.
- Navigate required websites and portals to retrieve medical and other records.
- Review and process records-related invoices and payments.
- Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive and proprietary information.
- Follow all applicable company, client, confidentiality, safety, and operational policies and procedures.
- Any and all other duties as may be required of the job
