In this vital role, you will manage and maintain accurate, complete, and secure patient medical records in compliance with healthcare privacy regulations and institutional policies. Your expertise will ensure seamless access to health information, support clinical workflows, and uphold the highest standards of confidentiality and data integrity. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to quality patient care through meticulous records management and health information administration. Responsibilities Manage electronic health records (EHR) systems and electronic medical records (EMR), ensuring accurate documentation and timely updates of patient information. Organize, file, and retrieve medical records efficiently while maintaining strict adherence to clinical confidentiality policies. Verify the completeness and accuracy of medical documentation, including medical coding and billing information, to support revenue cycle management. Ensure compliance with health information management standards, healthcare privacy protection laws, and health regulation policies. Collaborate with healthcare providers to facilitate the proper documentation of patient encounters, diagnoses, treatments, and procedures. Assist with audits and quality assurance reviews related to health information regulatory compliance. Provide excellent customer service by responding to internal inquiries regarding medical records while maintaining patient confidentiality at all times. Experience Proven experience in medical office administration or health information management roles. Familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHR) or Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems is essential. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, clinical confidentiality policies, and healthcare privacy protection laws such as HIPAA. Experience with medical coding, records management, and revenue cycle management processes is highly desirable. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for documentation, reporting, and communication purposes. Understanding of health regulation policies and compliance standards related to health information management. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to handle sensitive information responsibly.
