The Medical Records Clerk manages the internal/external faxes for the organization, handles all incoming and outgoing medical records, works to review the dictation as directed by providers, and serves as the process owner of the sending and receiving of x-ray images and reports for the organization to ensure accurate medical record for the patient. A wide range of duties including, cross-over duties with Health Information Technology support staff. (Summary of position). Horizon Health offers a collaborative, team-oriented work environment focused on meeting the needs of individual patients while supporting and contributing to the health and wellness of our communities. Remote work may be considered for candidates residing within the state of South Dakota.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the internal/external faxes for the organization. Review, edit, format and appropriately place dictation into EHR as directed for providers. Scanning documents into EMR system.
