Greenville, South Carolina (must be located in the Upstate of SC)

Full Time, Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 5:00PM Supervised by:
Medical Records Coordinator Position Overview:
Works to support the Medical Records team by facilitating the reception of incoming medical records to Parkside Pediatrics. Directly responsible for prioritizing and working through various administrative tasks in a timely, efficient, and detail-oriented manner. Collaborates with other members of the Medical Records team to ensure that team goals are achieved, and Parkside's standard of excellence is met.
Responsibilities may include:
1. Ensuring timely responses on incoming medical records requests. 2. Contacting external offices to follow up on status of requests. 3. Driving into office a minimum of once per week to receive and collect records. (Flexible pick-up schedule). Entering records that are received. 4. Handling records in accordance with HIPPA regulations. 5. Clearly communicating with team members and patient families to uphold and ensure an exceptional patient experience. 6. Remotely attending regular huddles and meetings. 7. All other duties assigned.
Required Education & Certifications:
Customer service experience preferred. Must have phone etiquette, computer and typing experience. Must exude over-the-top strengths in prioritizing, communication, organizational skills, attention to detail and staying curious. Work environment and
Physical Demands:
Requires sitting, standing, and walking associated with a normal physician office environment. Person may be exposed to fumes, airborne particles, infectious diseases, blood/bodily fluids, and disease-bearing specimens. Tribe513 is an equal opportunity employer.
