Job description Longhorn Imaging is actively seeking a qualified and organized Medical Records Specialist for our growing Diagnostic Imaging company. This is a high volume multi tasking job with inbound and outbound calls to obtain records for incoming patients. The individual is responsible for all areas related to medical records integrity and maintenance, including but not limited to completing medical records requests, obtaining ROI's, and obtaining prior medical records as needed. Shift Schedule Monday - Friday 8a to 5p
JOB SUMMARY
The Medical Records Specialist will work directly with our patients and referring providers to assist with medical and radiology requests.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Process radiology and medical records requests for physicians offices or patients Obtain copies of patient prior imaging and medical records for case comparisons Answer incoming calls and ask appropriate questions to properly assess caller's needs Properly pull all necessary documentation for each record request. Process incoming emails in a timely fashion. Always maintain a neat and organized office area

$19-$21 depending on experience
