Job Description

PS Companies is hiring a Medical Records Abstractor to support the Fetal and Infant Mortality Review (FIMR) process by reviewing and summarizing medical records. This role will start
Mid-September Pay:
$32.00-$33.00/hour
Key Responsibilities:
  • Gather and review medical records from clinical and social sources
  • Abstract and enter accurate data into systems and databases
  • Ensure timely, complete documentation per program standards
  • Generate reports and identify opportunities to improve data processes
  • Present case summaries and participate in review meetings and collaborations
Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree in Nursing, Medical Assisting, or related field
  • 2+ years of clinical or medical records/chart review experience (OB, Pediatrics, Neonatal, or related)
Preferred:
LPN/RN or allied health professional with data review and documentation experience Medical onboarding required.
Work Schedule:
40 hr/wk @ 8 hr/day Mon-Fri 8:00 am - 5:00 pm #gov2025 EQUAL
