Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Medical Records Clerk with minimum two(2) years of training and/or experience in clerical work and typing with emphasis on medical terminology and
ICD 10CM.

Your expertise will support seamless billing processes, efficient revenue cycle management, and high-quality patient care documentation. Prepare patient file folders from daily census. Sorts/re-sorts records due to deficiencies. Assembles discharged patient records. Types department reports for Director of Medical Records. Files patient records. Participates in activities with Medical Records services including in-services and community activities. Copies charts for releases of information to be sent out. Pulls charts from discharge census to be audited, gathers audits, and maintains log on audited charts. Process health insurance claims efficiently by verifying patient information, insurance details, and ensuring proper documentation for third-party billing Support revenue cycle management by ensuring timely submission of claims and follow-up on unpaid or denied claims Maintain confidentiality of sensitive medical information while adhering to HIPAA regulations Collaborate with medical staff to ensure records are complete, accurate, and compliant with medical records management protocolsSkills Strong knowledge of medical terminology, coding guidelines, including, ICD-10 and coding for inpatient services Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining accurate medical records Ability to interpret medical documentation accurately and apply appropriate coding standards Knowledge of medical office operations, including insurance verification, claim submission, and follow-up proceduresJoin us in delivering exceptional healthcare administration through meticulous recordkeeping and coding expertise. Pay:
