Position Overview The Manager of Health Information Coding/Abstracting oversees daily operations of the coding department while ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with regulatory standards.
Key responsibilities include:
Oversight of a Coding Operations Manager and 25 FTE team Maintains 95% coding accuracy Supports a hospital delivering highly complex tertiary and quaternary care Partnering closely with CDI, Quality, and Compliance leadership This leader will focus on team development, operational efficiency, and continued alignment between coding, quality, and compliance initiatives. $115K-$120K, higher considered for exceptional experience. Annual bonus potential and relocation assistance.
