Job Description
Medical Records Clerk 56 Hathaway Lane, Middlebury, VT 05753 From $20 an hour - Full-time From $20 an hour - Full-time Specialized Community Care, a unique non-profit provider of services to adults with Developmental and Intellectual Disabilities, is looking to add a Medical Records Clerk who can maintain our medical records and databases. SCC is a small, fast-paced office located in Middlebury and offers an opportunity to work in a quirky yet supportive environment. Job duties include managing/maintaining all medical records information including requesting documentation from medical providers, updating agency specific medical documentation/databases, reviewing medical documentation for accuracy, and providing clerical support to the SCC Nursing Supervisor. This is a full-time position with six agency holidays, 40 hours of sick time, and the equivalent of two weeks of paid vacation. The position requires in-person work in our Middlebury office, Monday to Friday during traditional office hours. The right candidate will have effective communication, professionalism, strong organizational skills, and attention to detail. Experience with Microsoft Office applications, medical records, and medical terminology is strongly preferred.
