Medical Records Clerk Cardiovascular Consultants Heart Center - 2.3 Fresno, CA Job Details Full-time From $17 an hour 12 hours ago Benefits Health insurance 401(k) Paid time off Qualifications HIPAA Scanning Health information management Faxing Full Job Description Duties for the Medical Records Clerk for Cardiovascular Consultants Heart Center Medical Records Department will include: Organizing patient records using traditional paper filing AND our EMR system, Epic Scan information, such as demographic data, consents, insurance papers, medication history, labs, and hospital records, into the patients chart Ensuring records are accurate and complete Retrieving records requested by patients and healthcare providers Maintaining patient confidentiality according to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and employer policies Answering phones and responding to faxes as needed
