Job Description
The Medical Records Clerk shall administer support Health Information Manager by organizing and maintaining protected health information and offering EMR assistance during regular business hours. The EMR Specialist is responsible for maintaining clinical records, storage and purging of records and to provide quality customer service to staff, consumers, and external service providers. Other duties will include assisting the Health Information Manager with the EMR system by assisting staff with EMR concerns and creating or improving processes. This position requires the ability to prioritize assigned work and perform tasks independently under the supervision of the Health Information Manager.
