Specialist assembles patients' health information, ensure medical charts and forms are complete, properly identified and authenticated, inputs information into the computer, communicates with physicians and other health care professionals about diagnoses or other necessary patient information, uses computer programs to tabulate and analyze data, copies and file medical records and information, generate birth certificates for infants born at Byrd Regional Hospital and works under the supervision of the Director, Health Information Management.
