Full Job Description Responsibilities:
THIS JOB REQUIRES WORKING AT MULTIPLE OFFICE LOCATIONS INCLUDING SOUTHGATE, NOVI, LIVONIA AND SOUTHFIELD.
Assist physicians in patient clinics, including managing patient flow. Input patient information into Electronic Medical Record system. Set up instrument trays for minor procedures and injections. Adhere to HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality and privacy. Answer phone calls from patients, pharmacies and physician offices. Perform various in-office tests on patients including taking medical photos.
Qualifications:
Previous medical assistant/technician experience preferred but not required. Basic medical terminology preferred. Knowledge of HIPAA/Confidentiality. MUST have reliable transportation and be willing to travel to satellite offices. Proficient with computers and EMR experience preferred but not required. Excellent attendance and punctuality required. Previous customer service experience preferred.
