Responsible for the complete, accurate and timely assignment of diagnostic and operative procedure codes and the assignment of the appropriate and optimal
Must be accredited as CCS
DRG / NY APR
DRG's for all patient medical records both concurrently and at the time of discharge.Must be accredited as CCS
- Certified Coding Specialist, RHIT
- Registered Health Information Technician or RHIA
- Registered Health Information Administrator. Must maintain continued education credits and AHIMA membership. Preferably 3-5 years Inpatient Coding experience. Salary
