The qualified applicant will be an organized self-starter with excellent time management skills and a positive attitude.

Position Highlights:

Ensure patient files are properly maintained and can be retrieved upon request or for scheduled appointments. Perform clerical tasks necessary for the proper maintenance of patient medical records. Reconcile all discharged records and follow up on missing documentation. Prepare, scan, verify, and index all patient records within 24 to 48 hours of discharge. Ensure physicians properly sign, date, and complete patient records before they are finalized. Arrange records from the skilled nursing facility in proper order, prepare them for storage, log them into the system, and place them in storage containers. Scan and photocopy records, and receive and send information via fax. Conduct periodic medical record audits and chart reviews.
