Job Overview Schedule:
Monday-Friday (8AM-5PM) | Hybrid Welcome to an opportunity where your skills meet compassion and community care. As a Pharmacy Technician focused on Medication Adherence & Access at Legacy Community Health, you'll be an essential part of our family, ensuring our patients have seamless access to their medications and healthcare needs. Key Responsibilities Act as a liaison between Legacy clients and healthcare providers/pharmacies to expedite medication needs. Monitor and respond to prescription renewal requests within 48 hours following protocol. Handle requests outside standard guidelines, seeking assistance as necessary. Demonstrate expertise in medication prior authorization, including benefit verification and appeals preparation. Maintain precise and current documentation for all activities. Communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operations. Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent. Certification as a Pharmacy Technician. Minimum 5 years experience as a certified pharmacy technician. Strong written communication skills for accurate documentation in electronic medical records. Excellent verbal communication skills. Outstanding customer service in all interactions. Strong understanding of medication prescribing process. Capable of performing core duties of a Certified Pharmacy Technician. Basic competency in Microsoft Word and Excel. Ability to navigate and utilize electronic medical records systems. Spanish speaking required.
