Job Description

CCHRC is seeking a dependable individual to work as Unit Secretary. - Full time position, 8am - 4:30pm Candidates must have open availability and flexible schedule Must be proficient with computers and computer programs Unit Secretary job duties include, but not limited to: Coordinating the various activities on the unit such as greeting and directing the visitors, residents, physicians, staff members etc. Responsibilities include assisting with new admissions and discharges/transfers; insuring information in resident's chart is accurate and up-to-date. Monthly chart audits, thinning and filing overflow files, and daily/monthly labs. Assists nursing staff with various non-clinical duties, such as managing equipment for residents as well as supplies and equipment for the unit.
Receptionist job duties include:
Answering mulit-line phone system and directing calls to appropriate departments. Provide customer service to employees, residents and visitors. Take and receipt payments from sponsors and insurance companies. Electronically chart supply usage from each station. Create memos, letters, documents, greeting cards, charts, etc for various departments. Sort incoming and outgoing mail. Order supplies for front office as needed. Effectively use copying machine, fax and postage machine.
