Job Description

Join our busy, privately owned dental practice! We're looking for a dependable, detail-oriented front desk professional to join our administrative team . You'll work alongside other experienced front desk staff to help patients navigate their dental insurance coverage and financial details, while keeping the schedule and payments running smoothly. This position is ideal for someone who understands the complexity of in-network dental insurance — including coordination of benefits, fully insured vs. self-funded plans and Medicare Advantage — and can confidently apply those rules in real situations. You'll work directly with patients every day, explaining coverage and financial responsibilities clearly and handling payments with professionalism. You don't have to love insurance — but you do have to get it. Really get it. Responsibilities Verify eligibility and benefits accurately Prepare detailed and precise treatment plans Process and post insurance and patient payments Communicate effectively with patients and insurance carriers Maintain the schedule and manage daily front desk operations Qualifications Strong, hands-on knowledge of in-network dental insurance and coordination of benefits Minimum 3 years prior experience in treatment planning, insurance posting and patient financing Excellent written and verbal communication skills Confidence discussing insurance and financial matters with patients Attention to detail, accuracy, and organization in a busy environment Familiarity with Eaglesoft, Weave and Microsoft Office preferred This is an essential front desk role — the connection point between patients, providers and insurance carriers.
