Responsibilities Greet patients warmly upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression and efficient check-in process Schedule appointments using dental practice management software, coordinating with clinical staff to optimize daily operations Verify patient insurance coverage, explain treatment plans, and collect payments or co-pays accurately Manage electronic health records (EHR) Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations by safeguarding patient confidentiality and managing medical records securely Answer multi-line phone systems with professional phone etiquette, directing calls appropriately and assisting with patient inquiries Support clinical staff by preparing intake forms, updating medical history records, and facilitating care plans documentation Perform clerical duties such as filing, data entry, and maintaining organized medical files Assist in insurance verification processes and ensure accurate documentation of billing information Experience Prior experience working in a dental clinic or medical office environment is highly preferred Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively on the phone and in person Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse patient populations effectively Demonstrated clerical experience supporting front desk operations in a healthcare setting Understanding of clinical confidentiality policies aligned with HIPAA standards Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing medical records and documentation review Join us to make a difference by providing outstanding administrative support in a fast-paced dental environment!
