As the first point of contact for patients, the Medical Receptionist plays a vital role in providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a smooth and efficient patient flow, and supporting the overall operations of our medical office.Duties:
- Greet patients, visitors, and healthcare providers in a professional and friendly manner.
- Manage patient flow, scheduling appointments, and coordinating test results.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and patient files.
- Perform administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and preparing documents.
- Utilize 10-key typing skills to efficiently process patient information.
- Review medical documentation, ensuring it is accurate and complete.
- Communicate effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and staff in person, over the phone, and via email.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing patient concerns and questions in a compassionate and empathetic manner.
- Handle sensitive patient information with discretion and confidentiality.
- Support hospital operations and maintain a high level of productivity in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrate proficiency in medical office software and systems.
- Possess fluency in Spanish to serve our diverse patient population.
