Job Description
Practice Overview We are a doctor-owned, boutique dental practice in Rogers, Arkansas, operating on a fee-for-service model. Our focus is scientifically based, holistic, conservative, and aesthetically driven care with exceptional patient service. We're a small, collaborative team seeking a long-term team member passionate about patient-centered dentistry. Job Summary We are hiring a reliable, phone-savvy Scheduling Coordinator to own patient scheduling, keep our schedule full and optimized, and deliver outstanding service. This is a key front-office role requiring confidence with outbound calls , strong organization, and a track record of stable employment. Ideal for someone excited to grow with our innovative practice. Key Responsibilities Proactively manage and fill the daily/weekly patient schedule for maximum efficiency and provider productivity. Make outbound calls to patients for confirmations, follow-ups, recalls, and treatment coordination. Maintain accurate patient records and appointment data in Dentrix software (training provided if needed). Verify insurance eligibility as needed, explain benefits, and handle basic billing inquiries promptly. Provide friendly, clear communication via phone, email, and in-person to build patient trust. Perform general administrative support (filing, supplies, compliance tasks). Ensure full HIPAA compliance and contribute to smooth office workflow. Required Qualifications (Must-Haves - Applicants without these will not be considered) 1+ years of experience in dental front office, scheduling, or reception (dental preferred; medical/hospitality with heavy phone scheduling considered). Proven comfort and success with high-volume outbound and inbound phone calls (must enjoy phone work) . Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a sense of urgency to keep schedules full. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Ability to learn Dentrix software quickly (prior experience a plus). Hospitality or Sales experience is a plus Clean background and stable work history (long-term roles preferred). Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Haves) Familiarity with dental terminology and insurance verification processes. Experience in a fee-for-service or boutique/private practice setting is ideal.
