Walmart AMP Part Time Seasonal 2026 - Bartender Please note: This role is seasonal, operating from April through October, with hours and schedules varying by event. Secure your position for the 2026 season today.

We're looking for upbeat, dependable Bartenders who enjoy working in a lively environment and delivering memorable guest experiences. Position Overview The Bartender prepares and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including beer, wine, and mixed drinks. Accuracy, consistency, and exceptional service are key to ensuring every guest enjoys their visit. Principal Responsibilities (Essential Functions) Customer Service
  • Greet guests with a warm, friendly attitude
  • Fulfill drink orders accurately and efficiently
  • Anticipate guest needs to elevate their overall experience Inventory & Quality Management
  • Mix and serve beverages according to recipe standards
  • Use assigned measuring tools to ensure consistency
  • Complete opening/closing inventories, transfers, and spoil logs
  • Record sales and transaction variances accurately
  • Restock products throughout the shift and reset based on pars
  • Ensure product levels are maintained before, during, and after event Upselling
  • Promote specials, featured drinks, and upgrades to enhance the guest experience and boost revenue Safe & Responsible Service / Compliance
  • Follow all ABC and AMP alcohol service guidelines
  • Check IDs and uphold alcohol cut-off procedures
  • Set up and break down workstations, including cleaning and sanitizing
  • Process payment transactions accurately
  • Protect company assets and maintain proper cash-handling practices
  • Maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude throughout every shift
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
  • Follow all company policies and procedures Education, Training & Traits
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced, high-energy environment—especially on show days
  • Excellent multitasking and organizational abilities
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on event schedules
  • Knowledge of common well liquors and standard drink-making techniques
  • Experience with the Appetize POS system is a plus
  • Ability to make quick decisions under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliability and punctuality are essential Work Experience
  • Minimum 1 year of full-service bartending experience, preferably in a high-volume setting
