Job Description

Position Overview We are looking for a dependable, organized, and customer-focused Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a welcoming experience while managing front office operations efficiently. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, thrives in a fast-paced medical environment, and is committed to delivering exceptional patient service. Key Responsibilities Welcome patients and visitors with professionalism, courtesy, and compassion. Schedule, confirm, and coordinate patient appointments to maintain an efficient workflow. Verify insurance coverage, process patient payments, and assist with billing inquiries as needed. Answer and direct calls using a multi-line phone system while providing excellent customer service. Work closely with physicians and clinical staff to support seamless patient care. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with HIPAA privacy regulations. Perform general administrative duties, including filing, data entry, and document management. Address patient questions and concerns promptly while maintaining confidentiality. Qualifications Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a healthcare office is preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology and experience using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer applications. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with exceptional attention to detail. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills. Experience with insurance verification, patient registration, and health information management is a plus. Why Join Our Team?
