Virtuous Health Centers is looking for a friendly and organized Medical Receptionist to join our team in Flagstaff, AZ! Responsibilities:

Greet and check in patients in a warm, professional manner Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments using medical scheduling software Answer and route incoming phone calls, emails, and patient inquiries Verify patient insurance eligibility and collect co-pays at time of service Maintain and update accurate patient records in the EHR/EMR system Coordinate referrals, authorizations, and communication between patients and clinical staff Ensure the front desk and waiting area remain organized and welcoming

Requirements:

1+ year of experience in a medical receptionist or front desk healthcare role preferred Familiarity with EHR/EMR systems and medical scheduling software Knowledge of medical terminology, insurance verification, and HIPAA compliance Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-first attitude Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy clinical environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer applications High school diploma or equivalent required; medical office certification a plus
