Responsibilities:
  • Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
  • Register new patients and update existing patient information in the dental records system
  • Schedule patient appointments and manage the appointment calendar
  • Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries or direct calls to the appropriate department
  • Verify insurance information and collect co-pays or payments from patients
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization at the front desk area
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
  • Presenting treatment plans
  • Collaborate with medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient operations
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a dental office or dental care setting preferred
  • Proficient in dental terminology and understanding of dental office procedures
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, staff, and visitors
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Familiarity with electronic dental records systems, such as Denticon , is a plus
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional demeanor and ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
