Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and friendly Front Desk Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our ophthalmology practice. This vital role involves managing front desk operations, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring smooth administrative workflows. The ideal candidate will be energetic, organized, and possess strong communication skills to create a positive first impression for visitors, clients, and team members alike. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your office management skills in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Front Desk Staff are responsible for supporting the daily administrative operations of the practice, including patient scheduling, check-in/check-out, phone communication, insurance verification, and maintaining accurate patient records. Team members are expected to provide professional, efficient, and compassionate customer service while helping ensure a smooth and organized patient experience. Experience Prior office or administrative experience is preferred, ideally in a reception or clerical role within a professional setting Proven proficiency with computer literacy including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic data entry skills Experience managing multi-line phone systems and demonstrating strong phone etiquette Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse client needs effectively Familiarity with office management tasks such as filing, proofreading, calendar management, and time management is preferred Previous experience in medical is a plus but not mandatory Strong organizational skills combined with excellent communication abilities will ensure success in this role Must be a team player and able to multitask Join us to be part of a vibrant team where your organizational talents and customer service skills make a real difference every day!
Pay:
$18.00 - $22.00 per hour
