Job Description
About the Position We are seeking a friendly, professional, and organized Front Office Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service to patients while efficiently managing front-office operations in a fast-paced medical environment. Key Responsibilities Greet and check in patients in a warm and professional manner Answer incoming phone calls and respond to patient inquiries Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments Verify patient demographics, insurance information, and eligibility Collect copays, deductibles, and outstanding patient balances Obtain and maintain accurate patient records Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and clinical staff Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA requirements Process paperwork, scanning, filing, and other administrative duties Keep the reception area organized, welcoming, and professional Support the clinical team with additional administrative tasks as needed Qualifications Previous medical receptionist, front-desk, or healthcare administrative experience required Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance processes preferred Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong customer service and interpersonal skills Excellent organization and attention to detail Ability to multitask and prioritize in a busy medical office Comfortable using electronic health records (EHR) and computer systems Eclinical experience preferred but not required Ability to maintain patient privacy and confidentiality Bilingual helpful but not required
