Starting at $17.00/hour About Us We are a hematology/oncology clinic in Arcadia, CA, seeking a front-office Medical Receptionist who is professional, compassionate, and committed to supporting patients through their care journey. Schedule Monday - Thursday 8-10 hours/day No weekends Job Overview The Medical Receptionist will serve as the first point of contact for patients. The ideal candidate will have prior medical office experience, excellent communication skills, and a working knowledge of medical terminology to ensure smooth operations in a fast-paced clinical environment. Responsibilities Greet patients and check them in for appointments Schedule and confirm appointments using Nextgen Enterprise (EHR) Manage inbound phone calls with professionalism and courtesy Handle patient inquiries regarding appointments, insurance, and records Maintain accurate and confidential patient files in compliance with HIPAA Assist with patient intake and data collection Provide general clerical support including filing, typing, and correspondence Use Microsoft Office Suite and other office software effectively Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent 2-3 years of experience in a medical office or clinic role Familiarity with medical terminology and insurance policies Strong organizational skills with attention to detail Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Bilingual (Spanish) strongly preferred Must pass drug screening Benefits Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) retirement plan Competitive hourly pay with room for growth Team-focused and supportive work environment
