Responsibilities Greet patients warmly, verify personal information, and assist with check-in procedures using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems. Schedule appointments efficiently, coordinate patient flow, and manage calendar updates. Handle incoming phone calls with professional phone etiquette; answer inquiries regarding appointments, and clinic services. Collect and process patient payments Review and update medical records, ensuring compliance with clinical confidentiality policies and HIPAA regulations. Maintain accurate filing of medical records, manage electronic health records (EHR) management tasks, and ensure data integrity across systems. Support clinical staff by preparing care plans documentation and assisting with health information management tasks as needed. Requirements Proven experience in a medical office setting or healthcare environment with strong clerical experience. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems; previous clinic experience is highly preferred. Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and 10-key typing for efficient data entry. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively via phone and in person; bilingual abilities are a plus. Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly while adhering to HIPAA guidelines and clinical confidentiality policies. Demonstrated organizational skills with attention to detail for documentation review and filing tasks.
