Job Overview :
We are seeking a detail-oriented, highly organized, and proactive Dental Front Office Receptionist to join our dental specialty ( oral surgery ) group practice. The ideal candidate will have experience in a dental front office setting , with strong skills in scheduling, communication, insurance coordination, and patient interaction . Prior experience is preferred. We value professionalism, initiative, and a strong commitment to high-quality patient care . This position is best suited for someone who thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment and is motivated to grow within a patient-focused practice . Compensation will be competitive and based on experience and skill set with room to grow.
Responsibilities:
Greet and assist patients warmly, providing an exceptional front desk experience Manage check-in and check-out procedures efficiently Schedule and confirm appointments using dental software (e.g., Dentrix) Verify insurance eligibility and benefits, and collect patient payments Maintain accurate patient records and ensure HIPAA compliance Handle multi-line phone systems with professionalism and care Support office operations and assist clinical staff as needed
Experience & Skills:
Dental office experience strongly preferred (front desk, scheduling, or insurance coordination) Knowledge of dental terminology , insurance verification , and EHR systems preferred Experience with Dentrix , Eaglesoft , or similar dental software Strong communication and organizational skills Bilingual proficiency is a plus, particularly in Spanish or Chinese. Positive attitude, attention to detail, and willingness to learn dental and/or oral surgery-specific processes Why Join Our Team This position offers the opportunity to grow in a professional and supportive, non-corporate family practice dental specialty environment. Pay:
$20.00 - $28.00 per hour
