Must be able to multi-task cheerfully Full time with benefits Dual role of Front Office and PT Tech at very busy clinic, but mainly front office Candidates should have the following : Enthusiasm, high energy and a good conversationalist- REQUIRED Some Medical Office experience/ education- Preferred Proficient with computer usage, especially Excel; answering phones, emails, and good customer service Ability to collaborate and work with a diverse team Current CPR certification required; employee is responsible for maintaining active certification for the duration of employment. Current tuberculosis (TB) test required; employee is responsible for maintaining in accordance with state guidelines for the duration of employment . VibrantCare is currently seeking engaging and energetic Physical Therapy Aide/Front Office for our Outpatient Physical Therapy in Castro Valley. The Physical Therapy Tech/Admin position is an essential component of the clinical rehabilitation team. The skills and knowledge obtained working along-side our expert clinicians will help develop the foundational skills and professional understanding necessary to take that next step in exploring a career as a
PT/OT/PTA/OTA.
Essential Functions:
Assist the PT/OT with both patient-related and non-patient related tasks Non-Patient related tasks may include: Patient Chart creation Copay collection Scheduling follow up visits Other "office" type tasks as needed General cleaning, disinfection and maintenance of therapeutic and gym equipment and high-touch surfaces Laundering and refreshing of linens Participation in emergency preparedness drills and exercises Participation in compliance-related education and training Participation in quality assurance activities Co-coordinating with MD offices and insurance companies for attaining authorizations Working with the team to allow for timely insurance verification for new patients Working on daily reports to ensure regular follow ups are scheduled for patients Overseeing other aides and coordinating with the clinic manager to ensure completing of daily aide tasks Patient-related tasks may include: Assisting the PT with patient transportation/transfers and gait training Assisting the PT/OT with set-up and application of thermal and electrical modalities Assisting the PT/OT with supervising therapeutic exercise programs Assisting the PT/OT with the assembly and production of hard copy and digital home exercise programs Benefits include:
