We are seeking a dependable and personable Medical Receptionist to join our team and serve as the first point of contact for our patients. The Medical Receptionist plays a key role in ensuring smooth daily operations of the front office. This individual will greet patients, manage scheduling, verify insurance information, answer phones, and provide exceptional customer service while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism. Responsibilities Greet and check in patients in a friendly and professional manner Answer incoming phone calls and assist patients with scheduling and general inquiries Verify insurance eligibility and collect copays/payments Maintain accurate patient records and update demographic information Manage incoming referrals, faxes, and medical records requests Communicate effectively with providers, staff, and patients Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front office area Ensure compliance with HIPAA and office policies Qualifications Previous medical office or receptionist experience preferred Knowledge of insurance verification and medical terminology is a plus Strong communication and interpersonal skills Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities Proficient with computers, EMR systems, and Microsoft Office Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Professional appearance and positive attitude
