92 + applicable differentials Job Summary The Unit Clerk is responsible for performing visitor and nursing support duties and maintaining a clean and organized work area, including some clerical duties. In addition to performing the essential functions listed below, the Unit Clerk may also be assigned other duties as required. Educational Requirement High school graduate or equivalent. Work Experience Previous unit clerical, receptionist, physician's office or clerical experience required (1 year). Licensure Requirements BLS certification, required. Skills & Abilities Requirements Ability to read, write, and comprehend medical terminology, required. Verbal communication skills. Emotional stamina to work in stressful environments. Computer skills sufficient to use computer system with accuracy for admitting, discharging, ordering, charging, and patient scheduling.
