Job Description

Overview Gameday Men's Health, a men's health clinic in Fresno, is hiring a Medical Receptionist to run our front desk. You'll be the first face and voice patients interact with — checking them in, scheduling and confirming appointments, collecting payments, and keeping the front office running smoothly. We're looking for someone dependable, friendly, and comfortable juggling phones, patients, and paperwork at the same time. What you'll do Greet patients as they arrive and check them in for appointments. Answer and manage incoming calls, return voicemails, and route questions to the right staff member. Schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments; send reminder calls/texts so patients show up on time. Collect co-pays, membership fees, and other payments; process transactions and keep records accurate. Enter and update patient information in our electronic medical record (EMR) system. Communicate with clinical and management staff throughout the day via Google Chat/Messages. Keep the lobby and front desk clean, organized, and stocked (snacks, drinks, patient materials). Handle other front desk tasks as assigned. What we're looking for At least 1 year of front desk, medical receptionist, or customer service experience; medical/dental/wellness office experience preferred. Experience with an EMR or scheduling system, or the ability to learn one quickly. Comfortable collecting payments and using a point-of-sale system. Clear, professional phone and in-person communication skills; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus. Basic computer skills, including email, Google Workspace, and accurate data entry. Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently while keeping the front desk running smoothly. Understands the importance of patient privacy and confidentiality (HIPAA). If you enjoy taking care of people and keeping things organized, we'd like to hear from you.
