1. Front Desk & Administrative Support Greet and check in patients in a professional and courteous manner Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments Answer and direct phone calls, take messages, and respond to general inquiries Maintain and update electronic health records (EHR) and patient demographic information Handle front office paperwork, scanning, filing, and correspondence 2. Insurance & Authorizations Obtain prior authorizations for procedures and medications as directed by the physician Document authorization numbers, approvals, and related insurance information Verify insurance eligibility and benefits Follow up on authorization and claim status with insurance providers Summary As a Front Desk Secretary/Receptionist, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients while providing essential administrative and clerical support to the practice. Reporting to the supervising physician, your responsibilities will include managing patient intake, scheduling, insurance coordination, and maintaining accurate electronic health records. The ideal candidate is highly tech-savvy, confident using computers, and adaptable to modern, technology-driven medical environments, including familiarity with AI-assisted tools and a strong background in EHR systems. Fluency in English and Armenian supports clear communication with a diverse patient population and ensures smooth daily office operations.
