Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and organized Dental Receptionist to join our vibrant dental practice. In this essential role, you will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing a variety of administrative and clinical support tasks. Your energetic approach will help create a welcoming environment, ensuring smooth daily operations from patient check-in to appointment scheduling and billing. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and passionate about delivering outstanding patient care through efficient office management. Duties Greet patients warmly and professionally, ensuring a positive first impression Manage patient scheduling using . Verify patient insurance coverage and process medical billing and collections accurately Maintain and update patient records in compliance with HIPAA and clinical confidentiality policies Handle phone communication with patients, insurance providers, and vendors with excellent phone etiquette Assist with medical administrative support tasks such as filing, data entry (including 10 key typing), and managing electronic health records (EHR systems) Skills Proven experience in dental clinic or medical office environments with strong clerical skills Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems like Epic, Meditech, Athenahealth, or eClinicalWorks Knowledge of health insurance processes, including medical billing, coding (ICD-10/ICD-9), CPT coding, and Medicare procedures Ability to perform medical collection activities effectively while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite for documentation review and communication Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse patient populations effectively Experience with front desk operations, appointment scheduling, and health information management Knowledge of clinical confidentiality policies and medical terminology to ensure accurate documentation review Capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Join our team to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives by providing seamless administrative support within a supportive and energetic dental practice. Pay:
