Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Patient Care Coordinator with dental knowledge to join our dynamic dental team. This role is essential in providing exceptional patient care while assisting the dental staff in various clinical and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will have experience in a dental clinic setting and possess strong communication skills, ensuring a positive experience for our patients. Someone who can fit the culture we are trying to cultivate., with similar core values. Duties Respond to all phone calls text message and email. Fill schedule Follow up with all missed appointmens and people with pending treatment Make sure all forms are up to date and filled out. If needed get insurance verification. Coordinate patient appointments and manage the scheduling of dental procedures. Check emails, voicemails, respond to voicemails emails and text messages. Assist dentists during examinations and treatments, utilizing four-handed dentistry techniques. Take and develop X-rays, as well as perform medical imaging if needed Document patient medical histories and vital signs accurately in EMR systems. Ensure adherence to HIPAA regulations while managing patient records and medical documentation. Utilize dental software such as opendent for managing patient information. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Schedule appointments, answer phone calls,follow up calls,help wil filling the schedule.

Skills Proficient in EMR systems with experience in Open Dental or Practice webpreferred. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality. Ability to perform X-ray imaging and understand dental terminology. Experience in chairside assisting with knowledge of Dental treatment Understanding of anatomy knowledge, infection control protocols Competence in medical documentation, medical records management, and medical coding. Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients of all ages. Previous experience in a dental clinic setting is highly desirable.
