We are seeking a dynamic and organized Dental Front Desk Receptionist to join our vibrant dental team. In this essential role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a welcoming environment while managing a wide range of administrative and clinical support tasks. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help facilitate smooth clinic operations, from patient check-in and scheduling to collection and doing recalls . This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to exceptional patient care while honing your skills in medical administration within a fast-paced dental setting. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly, verify their appointment details, and assist with check-in procedures using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems Dentrix, eagle soft , Open dental , or Soft Dent Schedule appointments efficiently, coordinate patient flow, and manage calendar updates using dental office management software Collect and review patient information, including insurance details, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and clinical confidentiality policies Verify insurance coverage, process claims, understanding of CPT coding Maintain accurate medical records by reviewing documentation for completeness and correctness in accordance with health information management standards Answer incoming phone calls with professional phone etiquette; address patient inquiries regarding appointments, billing, or insurance matters Support administrative tasks such as filing, data entry Collaborate with clinical staff to facilitate care plans and ensure timely communication of patient needs Requirements Proven experience dental front desk role with strong knowledge procedures and clinic experience Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly via phone and in person; bilingual abilities are a plus Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for documentation review and medical records management Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and clinical confidentiality policies to protect patient information Previous dental clinic experience is highly desirable; familiarity with dental terminology is advantageous Join our team where your enthusiasm makes a difference!
