Reporting to the office manager, you will utilize your core skills in patient service, medical records management, and front desk operations to ensure a smooth workflow. Your premium skills in EMR systems and medical terminology will enhance patient interactions and data accuracy. Additionally, your relevant skills in clerical support and customer service will contribute to a welcoming environment, making you a vital part of our healthcare team dedicated to patient care and satisfaction.
Initial Contact Management:
Greet patients and visitors with a professional and friendly demeanor. Promptly respond to new patient inquiries received via phone, email, or online forms, providing a warm and welcoming experience.
Appointment Scheduling:
Efficiently schedule initial consultations and coordinate necessary diagnostic tests, ensuring optimal use of available time slots.
Documentation and Record Keeping:
Collect and maintain accurate patient information, including medical history and consent forms, ensuring all documentation is complete and up-to-date.
Patient Education:
Provide new patients with information about the clinic's services, treatment options, and financial considerations, assisting them in making informed decisions.
Collaboration:
Work closely with medical staff and other departments to ensure a seamless clinic flow, ensuring efficient daily operations and minimizing patient wait times.
Payment Processing:
Obtain payment details, ensure that all details are accurately captured and processed in a timely manner. Perform opening and closing duties, following a detailed checklist to ensure the clinic is ready for operations or properly secured at the end of the day. Collect all mail to ensure all packages are documented with the date received, the name of the person who received it, and the tracking number. Then, promptly deliver the package to the designated person or department as indicated on the package. Ensure the waiting area is tidy, stocked with materials, and reflective of the clinic's welcoming atmosphere. Manage the monthly ordering of all administrative and clerical office supplies, ensuring timely procurement and inventory management. Support the clinic team with administrative tasks such as scanning, filing, and data entry as needed.
Pay:
$20.00 - $23.00 per hour
