As a Front Office Associate, you'll play a key role in ensuring every patient receives a welcoming, efficient, and professional experience from the moment they walk through our doors. Key Responsibilities Welcome patients and provide a warm, professional check-in and check-out experience. Schedule appointments while efficiently managing provider calendars. Answer high-volume phone calls with professionalism, courtesy, and excellent customer service. Verify insurance eligibility and obtain authorizations when required. Collect copays and maintain accurate patient demographics and records. Coordinate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow. Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations. Perform additional administrative and front office duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous experience in a medical front office setting preferred. Experience in ophthalmology or optometry is a plus, but not required. Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred. Strong computer proficiency and attention to detail. Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills. Professional demeanor with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
