Job Description

Starting Hourly:
$18.00+ per hour depending on experience as a Medical Receptionist. Two Trees Physical Therapy & Wellness, a member of Therapy Partners Group, has been the premier provider for outpatient orthopedics serving Ventura County and surrounding communities for 10 years. We are known for providing the highest quality individualized care for our patients and our team of highly skilled physical therapists who are passionate about helping patients achieve their goals. Currently, we are looking for a full time Medical Receptionist for our Statham Blvd location in Oxnard.
Schedule needed:
Monday & Wednesday 10:00am
  • 6:30pm, Tuesday & Thursday 9:30am
  • 6:00pm, Friday 8:00am
  • 4:30pm Bilingual in English & Spanish required
ESSENTIAL POSITION DUTIES
Greets warmly and maintains a friendly, welcoming relationship with all patient care coordinators, and any external connections. Clearly communicates with all staff, including clinical and corporate employees, in a friendly and courteous manner Responsible for answering phones and greeting patients with the utmost professionalism and care in a timely manner and returning VMs same day received. Will maintain higher than 85% answer call rate. Participates in and adheres to, as required, the HIPAA Policies and Procedures of Therapy Partner Group Escalates patient issues and concerns, as needed, to local Clinical leadership and Regional Front Office management. Scheduling patient's initial evaluations and follow up visits through plan of care
MINIMUM POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office; Raintree PMS experience is a +Plus Possess strong relationship building and customer service skills Ability to maintain confidential documents Ability to demonstrate active listening by asking clarifying questions, identify and share relevant information and solicit feedback from others and give and receives feedback objectively. Possess strong team player attributes Ability to multi-task responsibilities while maintaining a positive and friendly atmosphere with the patients near by
Education and Experience Education :
High School diploma or equivalent (Must be 18+)
Experience :
Practice Management System knowledge, patient scheduling capabilities and insurance plan understanding. Front office experience in a physical therapy office is a plus. Physical Requirements and Working Conditions Requires prolonged sitting, some walking, bending, stooping, reaching, and stretching. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, mouse, photocopier, telephone, calculator, and other equipment. Requires normal range of hearing and eyesight to record, prepare and present reports.
