You will serve as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, ensuring a welcoming environment while managing essential administrative functions. Your organizational skills will be critical to scheduling and daily operations of our entire office. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to be part of a caring team dedicated to delivering compassionate and best quality patient care and service. Duties Greet patients and visitors warmly, creating a positive first impression Schedule patient appointments using Dentrix dental practice management software Request insurance coverage information, handle billing inquiries and monitor patient accounts with accuracy and professionalism Manage multi-line phone system with excellent phone etiquette, directing calls efficiently Maintain accurate medical records and ensure confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations Review documentation for completeness and accuracy, including intake forms and treatment plans Support front desk operations by filing paperwork, updating patient information, and managing office supplies Coordinate with clinical staff to facilitate smooth patient flow and appointment scheduling Skills Proven experience in dental office administrative support, with familiarity in clinic settings Strong knowledge of dental terminology, dental coding (CDT), and health information management systems such as Dentrix Excellent customer service skills combined with professional phone etiquette and active listening abilities Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail Awareness of insurance processes including verification, billing, and need for documentation Competency with computer usage including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), and familiarity with multi-line phone systems Understanding of HIPAA compliance standards to ensure patient confidentiality at all times

From $24.00 per hour
