Experienced Dental Front Office Administrator (Flexible, As-Needed Schedule) Help a Team That Supports One Another David E. Rauterkus DDS is seeking an experienced, highly flexible Front Office Administrator to provide coverage and support for team members who are currently assisting family members or addressing personal medical needs. This position is ideal for an experienced dental front office professional who enjoys helping where needed and values flexibility over a fixed schedule. The right candidate understands that some coverage opportunities may arise with limited notice and is willing to step in to help maintain the exceptional level of service our patients expect. At our practice, we believe in supporting one another through life's challenges. We are looking for someone who shares our commitment to teamwork, compassion, and excellent patient care. Responsibilities
- Greet patients in a warm and professional manner
- Answer phones and schedule appointments
- Manage patient check-in and check-out processes
- Verify insurance and assist with benefits coordination
- Collect payments and maintain accurate records
- Support administrative and operational front office functions
- Communicate effectively with patients and team members
- Help ensure a smooth and positive patient experience Qualifications
- Previous dental front office experience required
- Knowledge of dental scheduling, insurance, and patient communications
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Professional, friendly, and dependable demeanor
- Ability to adapt to changing schedules and office needs
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude
