The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing front desk operations, ensuring a welcoming environment for patients, and providing exceptional administrative support. This role requires strong organizational skills, proficiency in dental terminology, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Duties Greet patients warmly and manage the check-in and check-out processes. Schedule appointments and manage the dental office calendar effectively. Handle patient inquiries via phone and in-person with excellent phone etiquette. Process insurance verifications and assist with dental billing and coding. Maintain accurate patient records using EMR systems such as Denticon, Dentrix, or Eagle Soft. Review documentation for accuracy and compliance with HIPAA regulations. Assist in managing medical records, including filing and retrieval of patient information. Support the dental team with clerical tasks such as typing reports, preparing care plans, and managing correspondence. Ensure the front desk area is organized and presentable at all times. Skills Proficient in medical terminology, including
ICD-9, ICD-10, CPT
coding, and dental terminology. Experience with EHR systems such as Denticon or Dentrix is preferred. Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on patient service and satisfaction. Ability to handle multi-line phone systems efficiently. Previous experience in a dental clinic or medical office setting is highly desirable. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply to enhance communication with diverse patient populations. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for documentation review and filing processes. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while managing individual responsibilities effectively.
