We are a small practice in Rosemead, CA. The hours are from 9am to 6pm Monday,Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. We are looking for someone who is reliable, punctual, and a team player who can work with our doctors, and next door vision center associates. This position is a permanent position. We are looking for someone who is comfortable talking on the phone with patients and scheduling appointments, answering phones, and interacting with patients. We will train for two weeks to do pretesting, dispensing glasses, and light vision insurance billing which is much less complicated than medical billing. This position will require some flexibility as we are looking for someone who can work multiple days per week.

Experience:

Front desk reception experience is recommended but not required. Spanish fluency is required.

Responsibilities:

Greeting and registering patients in person or by phone. Scheduling appointments. Answering phones and making calls to patients regarding their appointment. Obtaining patient information from patients and entering it into the EMR system. Scanning documents into the EMR system. Checking in patients using the patient portal system. Providing basic patient information to physicians to facilitate appointments through the portal system. Providing follow-up calls after an appointment to ensure patient information was received and the patient was satisfied with their appointment experience.
