Medical Clerical Receptionist - Kearny Mesa A well-known healthcare organization in Kearny Mesa is seeking a Medical Clerical Receptionist to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone passionate about patient care and looking for schedule flexibility in a dynamic medical environment. This role requires someone with full open availability to work 5 days a week, 8-hour shifts, any day Monday through Sunday, between the hours of 6:00 AM and 10:30 PM.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet patients and visitors with professionalism and warmth Manage high-volume phone calls and direct inquiries appropriately Schedule, confirm, and manage appointments Check in/out patients and verify insurance and eligibility Collect co-pays and process payments accurately Maintain and update patient information in electronic health records (EHR) Handle medical records requests in compliance with HIPAA regulations Support clinical staff with clerical and administrative duties Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front office environment
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a medical or healthcare setting preferred but not required Knowledge of MS Office Suite Strong communication and multitasking skills Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance processes Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
