Coastal Endodontic Studio is seeking a Dental Front Desk Receptionist / Patient Services Coordinator to join our growing team at our San Luis Obispo office . As the first point of contact for patients and referring dental offices, you will help create a welcoming, reassuring experience—from the first phone call through checkout. We're looking for someone who communicates clearly, takes initiative, and provides five-star customer service while keeping a busy front office running smoothly. About Our Practice Coastal Endodontic Studio is a boutique dental specialty practice focused on root canal treatment, microsurgical endodontics, and dental trauma care. We combine advanced technology with compassionate, personalized attention to help patients feel informed and comfortable throughout their care. What You'll Do Welcome patients and assist with check-in and checkout. Answer calls, respond to inquiries, and communicate professionally with patients and referring offices. Schedule and confirm appointments while coordinating with the clinical team. Maintain accurate patient records and assist with registration forms. Verify insurance information and assist patients with payment and financial questions. Help patients understand the next steps in their visit and treatment process. Keep the front office organized and follow through on daily responsibilities. Collaborate with doctors and teammates to provide an exceptional patient experience. What We're Looking For Strong customer service skills and a warm, professional communication style. Reliability, attention to detail, and consistent follow-through. Ability to prioritize tasks and stay composed in a busy environment. Comfort using computers, learning software, and managing phone communications. A team-oriented attitude and willingness to learn. Dental front office, medical reception, or related customer service experience preferred. Bilingual English/Spanish skills preferred. Compensation & Benefits $25-$29 per hour , depending on experience.
