In this vital role, you will manage patient interactions, coordinate appointments, and ensure smooth administrative operations. Your energy and attention to detail will help create a welcoming environment that promotes excellent patient care and efficient clinic workflow. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and provide exceptional customer service at the front desk Schedule and confirm patient appointments using dental office management software Manage patient check-in and check-out processes with accuracy and professionalism Handle phone inquiries with clear communication, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette Verify insurance coverage, process payments, and perform medical collections as needed Maintain accurate and confidential medical records in electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic or Meditech Review documentation for completeness and accuracy, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and clinical confidentiality policies Assist with medical billing, coding (CPT, ICD-9, ICD-10), and insurance claims processing Support administrative tasks including filing, data entry, and managing office supplies Coordinate with clinical staff to facilitate smooth patient flow and care plans Experience Prior experience working in a dental clinic or medical office environment is highly preferred Strong knowledge of EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Meditech, Athenahealth, or eClinicalWorks Demonstrated proficiency in medical billing, coding (CPT, ICD), and health insurance procedures including Medicare Excellent computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and typing skills (including 10-key typing) Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse patient populations effectively Proven ability to handle medical records management with attention to detail and confidentiality Exceptional customer service skills combined with effective phone communication and office management experience Familiarity with health information management standards, clinical confidentiality policies, and medical terminology Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering outstanding dental care while fostering a supportive environment for professional growth.
