Responsibilities Greet patients warmly, verify their information, and check vital signs as needed to ensure accurate medical documentation Schedule appointments efficiently using patient management software, coordinating with clinical staff to optimize daily operations Manage patient records within EMR systems such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and clinical confidentiality policies Assist dental practitioners during procedures including oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry by preparing instruments and maintaining aseptic technique Take high-quality dental x-rays and medical imaging using dental equipment like 3D scanners while adhering to infection prevention management protocols Process dental instruments through sterilization procedures, ensuring infection control standards are consistently met Provide excellent patient care by explaining treatment plans, answering questions about dental terminology, and supporting overall patient comfort and satisfaction Qualifications Prior experience in a dental clinic setting or as a dental receptionist/dental assistant is highly preferred Proficiency with EMR systems such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft; familiarity with patient management software is a plus Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and healthcare infection prevention and control practices Ability to perform chairside assisting including handling dental instruments, taking X-rays, and supporting clinical procedures in general dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatrics Strong understanding of dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and medical documentation standards Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment Certification in dental assisting or related healthcare training is advantageous; familiarity with four-handed dentistry techniques is a bonus Join us to be part of a passionate team committed to delivering top-quality dental care while fostering your professional growth.
